Where can I take IELTS?

There are IELTS test centers all over Nigeria where you can register your IELTS but we at Baccalaureate place high value on guiding our students aright. That means; when you register with us, we won’t just register you for the IELTS exam, we also guide you on everything you need to know to score an 8.5 band in your IELTS exam.

How do I book/register for the test?

When you register for IELTS with us, we as your IDP Education counselor will coach you and get you ready for the exam, when we’ve ascertained that you are ready. Then, you can pick a date and location that is convenient for you and write your exam.

 Do I take all parts of the test on the same day?

The Listening, speaking, Reading and Writing components of the test are always written immediately after each other and with no break. So the four components of the tests are written the same day. But you might choose to complete the speaking component of the IELTS exam on a different day.You will do the Listening component first followed by the Reading and Writing components of the test.

How do I choose the right test for me?

We will have you know that there are two types of IELTS tests available; IELTS Academic and IELTS General training. The test you choose depends on what you need it for.

IELTS Academic : IELTS Academic is used to measure your level of language proficiency and its often used for academic pursuit. This is the IELTS exam you need to write if your intention is to study abroad.

IELTS General Training: Measures your English language proficiency for everyday use. The test that will be administered reflects not just workplace but also social contexts.
